Plainfield Optimist Club

Dear Optimist Members,

As we begin another year of Optimism, we are asking for your renewed support.  We are also introducing a new annual dues structure that is tiered based upon the level of “service time” provided. Those who are willing and able to provide more “service time” can pay less in dues if they choose, and those who are willing to provide more “financial support” and less service time can help subsidize those who are providing the time. The choice you make is totally up to you.

1.    Special Contributing Member 

• $30 a year - expected to contribute 12 hours of service per year. 
• Serving as a sports director, Club or sports board member, or coach satisfies this requirement.

2.   Life Member

• $44 a year - must be recognized as a Life Member by Optimist International.

3.    Spouse Member 

• $54 a year - if a married couple are both members of the Club, the first member's dues shall be for the full amount and the second member's dues shall be $54 annually and members are expected to contribute 6 hours of total service per year.

4.    Regular Member 

• $75 a year - expected to contribute 6 hours of total service per year.

5.    Financial Sponsors

• $125 a year - no service work expected, but always appreciated.

This dues structure allows each member to determine what is most appropriate to support and to serve as a member of the Optimist Club of Plainfield.  Remember, by paying your dues, you ARE an active, supportive member of the club!
